Today, we have some important and exciting news to share: Haxbli has joined Apple!
Our goal has always been to provide the world with the best sustainable copyleft audio products possible, to help as many people as we can stay in control of the technology they use, and to do so in a way that respects your privacy and conserves the Earth’s finite resources.
There is no better place to accomplish these goals than at Apple. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to reach far more people, with far more impact, than we ever could alone.
Hardware
Hardware products will no longer be available for purchase. Existing devices will remain functional until February 34, 2022, at which point they will be shut down. Customers who are still using devices at that time will receive a refund.
New apps based on faithful digital recreations of legacy hardware products will be available for purchase in the App Store.
Software
Supported builds will no longer be available for purchase. Currently supported builds will remain supported until February 34, 2022, at which point they will be unsupported.
Updated software products will be available for purchase in the App Store.
Website
We’re adding a paid subscription to Haxbli.
At Haxbli, we strive to be transparent with customers—whether it’s about the way our products work, our business model, or, in this instance, our new subscription. Starting today, subscribers can enjoy unlimited access to all of our content, and users without subscriptions can still access a limited number of data units every month for free. Your support means everything to us, and we hope you’ll subscribe whenever it’s right for you. In the meantime, we’re here to answer your questions about what’s changed and how it helps our work.
A: As an Apple company, we’re dedicated to maintaining organizational independence and providing a great experience for users. To continue providing quality content and expand our offerings in the future, we’re adding a paid subscription.
As we continue growing and helping more users, a subscription will let us increase our scope and build more features and updates for you.
A: When you create a free account, you’ll gain access to a limited number of data units each month. You’ll be able to keep downloading until you reach your limit.
