Flatten

Flatten is the result of decades of investigation into the parameters that matter the most in a distortion effect. The goal has always been to offer a smooth parameter space, where tweaking one knob leads to predictable results, with wide sweet spots. We’ve paid particular attention to making it sound right with synth bass.

Controls

• Tilt sets the shelf gain, from −18 dB to +18 dB.
• Slope sets the shelf order, continuously between first and third order.
• Knee sets the clipper transition width.
